Download History!
Music played at the service in Westminster Abbey, SW London for Prince William and Kate MIddleton will be available for download on iTunes hours after they have tied the knot.
Pundits predict that the music will be so popular (by whom) that it will set musical history and be the first royal wedding album in the digital charts.
Decca Records has employed leading classical producer, Anna Barry, to capture every note of the ceremony on April 29th. President of Decca said, ‘It will capture a piece of history for a new generation.’
The music, readings, vows, hymns and blessings will also be available in shops six days after the digital launch.

Made to Feel the Vibrations!
A barrister asked for a closer look at a 13in vibrator – a key bit of evidence in the case of a minicab boss who was caught in South London with a bag of heroin and car boot full of sex toys.
The judge made it worse by telling the jury that he was fascinated with anything that is multi-speed.
A court official then joked by saying that the judge doesn’t get out much!
The 43-year-old man from Hatfield in Hertfordshire denies conspiracy to supply heroin and the trial at Inner London Crown court continues.

Wi-Fi on the London Tubes
It looks as if we will at last be getting wi-fi internet on the tubes as the London Underground (LU) forge ahead with its plans.
A trail was held at Charing Cross station, London WC2 and has now invited companies to tender for a network-wide contract and it all goes as plans it could be operational by 2012.
But despite the excitement some security experts are suggesting that wi-fi could make it easier for terrorists to target tube passengers though this is denied by the London Underground.
Boris Johnson, the Major of London is a staunch supporter of wif-fi and believes it will enable London passengers to keep up to date with the British medal tally at the 2012 games. Nice one Boris :O)

Cheap London House!
A house price survey has been carried out and they found that the cheapest place to live in London is Arthur Street in Bexley. Here the average property price is only £99,000.
Its still a lot of money, you may say, but its not the cheapest, which is Burnley in Lancashire (pictured) where you can buy a house for an average of £32,400. The cheap Lancashire town accounts for four of the five cheapest streets in England and Wales.
Fernhill in Mountain Ash, near Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, came second at £32,700.
The list was compiled and released by property website Mouseprice.com and goes a long way in highlighting the north-south divide as no place in the south made the top twenty.
Not a great advertisement for Burnly unless you want to sell up your London pad and live like a king in Lancashire, mortgage free. Let me think about that for a moment..er No!

Shrek The Musical!
The musical version of Shrek! loosely based on the Dreamworks film from 2001 comes to London and is playing at the Theatre Royal in Dury Lane.
It was originally launched in Seattle and then went to Broadway followed by a full US tour. The West End production is scheduled to open in June 2011.
Headling the production are Nigel Lindsay as Shrek, Richard Blackwood as Donkey, Nigel Harman as Lord Farquaad, (our favourite) Amanda Holden as Princess Fiona and Landi Oshinowo as the Dragon.
Amanda Holden rose to fame after appearing as a contestant on the game show Blind Date in 1991.

Daisy is London’s ‘IT’ Girl!
Fashion designer Vivienne Westwood recently called new English fashion model Daisy Lowe London’s current it girl: darling, natural, voluptuous and according to rumours – very, very sweet.
Daisy is a product of Pearl Lowes, (the singer and songwriter) youthful fling with Gavin Rossdale (lead singer from Bush)
Lowe began modelling at the age of two, and did some photoshoots when she was 12 and 14 years old. At 15 she was approached by a talent scout in Camden Town (where else) and, as a result, she signed with Select, a London modelling agency.
She has since featured in Vogue, French Connection, Topshop and catwalk shows across the globe, notably in New York, Milan and London.

Pencilled In at Exhibition!
A unique exhibition of film stills is being held at the Alan Crista Gallery in Cork Street, central London.
The collection is unusual because they are miniature drawings done in pencil and cover films from 2007 to 2010. They form part of an exhibition of works by Marie Harnett.
The stills feature glamourous actresses such as Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman and Sienna Miller (pictured).
The Alan Cristea Gallery is the largest publisher of limited edition prints and multiples in Europe.
The gallery publishes over 100 editions a year by many of the world’s leading international contemporary artists in a variety of media including etching, lithography, silkscreen, cast bronze, digital animation, photography and pencil. The exhibition runs until April 21st 2011.

Oxford Wins the Boat Race!
What a great day out, the Oxford and Cambridge 157th boat race, was for those of you who lined the River Thames to watch the spectacle.
I and the Supreme69 girls always enjoy watching eight strapping men dipping their cox in the water and the weather and a trip to the pub made it a fabulous day out.
The womens race was won by the Oxford crew today, but only by a length. On saturday the mens race was also won by Oxford.
A reporter said “It was amazing! Oxford produced an unrelenting display of power rowing on a dull, grey spring day. The Dark Blues led from the start and ended up romping home by four lengths, the lighter boat dominating from start to finish in largely favourable conditions.”

London Census!
It’s that time of year every Londoner loves… form filling Census time. Have you filled in yours? If not you are likely to be prosecuted
The last census for England and Wales was on 29 April 2001 and the next will take place on 27 March 2011 and will involve around 25 million households.
A census is a count of all people and households in the country. It provides population statistics from a national to neighbourhood level for government, local authorities, business and communities.
Cenusus director Glen Watson has warned that no matter what people think of it, the census form still needs completing. Interestingly they also get many jokers and last year 390,000 people declared their religion as Jedi. Yeah right!
