The V&A in South West London have put together another exciting exhibition. Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990 which is running until January 15 2012.
It’s the first in-depth survey of art, design and architecture of the 1970s and 1980s, examining one of the most controversial phenomena in recent art and design history: postmodernism.
The exhibition shows how postmodernism evolved from a provocative architectural movement in the early 1970s and rapidly went on to influence all areas of popular culture including design, art, music, film, performance and fashion.
They say that style during this period was not just a look but an attitude and includes exhibits such as the New Order album cover pictured.

Warning Rutting Stags!

The Royal parks have issued a warning after three separate rutting stag attacks have occurred on people out walking in the parks.
One young woman was taken to hospital with head, wrist and chest injuries. A man in his fifties was also taken to hospital after being attacked in the same Bushey park. A third attack occurred when a woman was knocked to the ground while walking.
The situation is caused by the stags competing with one another during the breeding season. By standers watching the events can inadvertently get involved who are viewed by the stags as competition.

Double-dip Recession!

Speed Camera Statistics!
Every London driver hates speed cameras as however careful you are as a driver they can catch the unweary and cause you to get points on your licence, a £60 fine or at worse a ban.
Now official statistics have been released showing the £20,000 speed camera statistics. The least used is one installed on Rhiwbina Hill in Cardiff that only caught one speeder.
