Anyone For A Game?
We reported about this event a while back but now its started, the 100 table tennis tables, balls and bats are in place all over London. There is now nothing to stop you seeking one out and playing a game.
I’m told by the girls that its an easy game to play but I’m not so sure. So for people like me the English Table Tennis Association are holding classes around the tables to help people like me how to hold the bat… or is that racket!
Tables are located in Soho Square, Tate Britain, The British Library, and Heathrow Airport until the end of August.
Looks like the heavily pregnant lady in our photo has also been playing more than ping pong!
The company responsible, Sing London, hopes to raise awareness of the sport and they should know what they are doing as they held a similar event last year involving pianos… and before you ask I can’t play the piano either!
