London Blitz 70th Anniversary Exhibition!
Incredibly it’s 70 years ago tomorrow that the air offensive on London began in the second world war. Commonly known as the Blitz, it was the intensive aerial bombing campaign carried out by the Germans on London during the Second World War and it ran from 7th September 1940 to 11 May 1941.
An exhibition to mark the anniversary of the start of the Blitz will take place at the city hall, The Queens Walk, More London, London SE1 2AA
Not only will the exhibition mark the event it is also dedicated to all the men and women of the emergency, volunteer, transport and specialist services who kept London going during the darkest days of the war.
