Rockers Shoot to Glory!
For the third year running Welsh rockers ‘Bullet For My Valentine’ scooped best British band at the Kerrang! awards during the week.
If that wasn’t prestigious enough they also won an award for best live act. Which leaves me somewhat baffled as I’m embarrassed to admit, I and the Supreme69 girls have never heard of them.
Not a bad thing as judging by the photo I guess their style of music is not the kind of tune we listen to especially when working. On the whole we prefer something a little more sexy and relaxing, even mellow, rather than full on rock – that said a good beaty rhythm can be good for those long hot sessions.
The Kerrang! award ceremony was held at the Brewery in East London and is the annual awards run by the music magazine of the same name. The awards began in 1993 and have become of Britain’s most recognised award events.
