Last night at The Brixton 02 the iconic Manchester band The Happy Mondays were on stage together for the first time in 19 years, Bez was looking well and despite only coming on stage for two songs the way he shook his maraca’s reminded us all of his mesmerising freaky dancing, singer Roweta looked slim and in great form both vocally and in her banter with ex-lover Shaun, The band sounded better than ever, mainly down to the lack of chemical abuse by Shaun and Co. Backstage after the show Shaun told us, People still to this day come up to me and say do you feel lucky that your still alive, and to be honest , no I don’t, I believe our lives are all mapped out for us and what will happen will happen it’s that simple, sure I do things to excess but that’s who I am, that’s what made the music, the scene would not of been a scene without chemical inducement.

Olympic tickets on sale again

Vidal Sassoon dies at 84
Hairdressing legend Vidal Sassoon has died at the ripe old age of 84 after losing his fight with leukaemia, Sassoon was the first real celebrity hairdresser opening his first salon in London way back in 1954, Vidal won great critical acclaim amongst his peers when he invented the bob cut, worn fabulously by Mary Quant in the 1960`s, indeed Mary Quant once said in an interview that Vidal Sassoon is the Chanel of hair.Vidal made millions by launching his own range of hairstyling products that sold by the lorry load, Vidal passed away with all his family members present at his Los Angeles home, Lee Stafford, hairdresser to the stars told us, Vidal Sassoon was the first guy ever to put British hairdressers on the map, he was a true genius and my hero, Vidal married four times and was presented with a CBE for his services.
