Thames Tour with a Difference!
Isn’t it funny how we Londoners rarely do any of the tourist attractions our great city has to offer.
Not anymore as earlier this year I made a concerted effort to jump out of my comfort zone and do some of the things available in this city.
The other week I took new girl Emily for a sightseeing tour along and in the Thames with London Duck tours. I had been recommended the experience by a client and it really was as good as he suggested.
You basically sit in a bright yellow amphibious vehicle and drive along and in the River Thames. Its pretty conspicuous and you feel rather foolish but you get some great views of the City of Westminster, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. As the adverts says, it really is very thrilling driving from the road and straight into the Thames.
